How do I find your stores and opening times?

Shipping timeframes, costs, and cancellations for online orders

How long will it take to ship my order?

We will ship your order within 2-3 working days. Orders containing a large number of individual comics/ pick locations may take a bit longer - please contact us if you need items delivered by a specific date. Please note that orders placed on public holidays may take longer.

How much is shipping?

UK shipping

Orders over £45 - FREE

Royal Mail under 200 grams - £3.00

Standard shipping via Royal Mail - £4.95

Tracked courier delivery via DPD - £8.75

Shipping to Northern Ireland 

DPD 2 day - £12.00

Royal Mail  up to 600 grams - £4.95

Do you offer bundle shipping  / Why am I being charged multiple shipping costs?

We have a number of different locations and if an order contains items from different locations a shipping charge is added for each location. However, this can be avoided by hitting the free shipping threshold, alternatively, if you contact us first before placing your order, we can move items around and get them to you for one flat shipping fee. Email sales@cgc-emporium.com to arrange this.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes you can cancel your order before shipping - contact us via phone on 01243 789053 (Chichester) or 01903 898825 (Worthing). Alternatively, send us an email at orders@cgc-emporium.com.

Shipping areas - where we do and don't ship to

We ship to UK and US locations. 

We don't ship to European locations.

Order quantity restrictions (online and in store)

We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders at our discretion and refer you to the anti-scalping section of our terms of service. We want items to get into the hands of fans not resellers!

What is your refunds policy?

How do I subscribe to comics?

You can subscribe to your favourite series through Manage Comics. This will allow you to add and remove comics from your pick list. You can choose to have your subscriptions delivered to your address (free delivery over £45) or pick them up at one of our stores for free. Make sure to get your subs in before final order cut off!

Can I pick up comics in store? How do I know when my subscriptions are ready?

New comics typically arrive in store for collection every Wednesday. When you order comics for store pick-up, they will be put aside for you behind the till on publication date. You can then pay for and enjoy them! Your order will display as 'picked' in Manage Comics once it is ready.

We know you'll be excited to get your new comics anyway, but picking orders up quickly does help our stores immensely. Collect in store orders are held for up to 3 months.

Events and tickets

We run a whole host of events at our Chichester and Worthing stores. See our events page for more details. You can also see the Worthing Store Calendar and Chichester Store Calendar for an overview of the month ahead.

Do you buy comics?

We do buy collections! As always you will get more by selling the books individually, but if you are interested in selling larger collections drop us a line at owen@cgc-emporium.com. We pay a bulk rate for most books and 50% market value for keys and minor keys . Condition is always important so we will need to appraise the books before making an offer

Do you buy Trading Cards?

Sorry, we do not buy trading cards (also known as TCGs)!

Do you have a newsletter?

Subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated about new releases and events. To subscribe, visit this link and enter your details. The newsletter is sent every Monday and Friday evening, and includes information about new comics and games, as well as an FOC reminder.

Prices & Discounts

Table fees and event tickets

Our table fee is £4.00. This entitles you to a whole day of gaming in one of our stores.  Some events may require an additional ticket. Please see our events page for more information.

Games Workshop discounts

You can get a discount on Games Workshop (Warhammer) orders placed in store:
£50 + = 10% off
£100 + = 15% off
£200 + = 20% off
