Meet The CGC Team
Meet the wonderful team of nerdy experts who work in CGC's stores in Worthing and Chichester, and behind the scenes at our warehouse.

I started CGC on the 13th of December 2015. My interests include cinema in general, especially Indiana Jones, and the League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen (but the comics, not the film)! I spend quite a bit of time on grown-up business stuff these days, including buying new and exciting products for our stores. But I do still get some time to read comics and play games. Seeing the communities grow around each of the many things we do and the enjoyment people get from them has been the highlight for me.

I joined CGC in 2016, soon after we opened. Comics and graphic novels are my thing. My all time favourites are Preacher and East of West. I’m an aspiring creative games writer and comics writer and spend a lot of my time on this. You can ask me about anything related to graphic novels, manga, and comics. I really enjoy talking about fandoms, and that there’s always something new to learn when it comes to TCGs. We’re a hub for nerds at CGC, and I’ve loved seeing friendships (and even marriages) form here over the years.

I joined CGC in 2017 and now work part-time in the Worthing store. I'm a comic book writer and you may recognise me as one of the creators of Cyberarchy (which you can find on the shelves at CGC). I always enjoy talking with customers about their comic choices and what's new on the shelves. You can ask me about anything comic and toy related (especially Transformers)!

I joined CGC in summer 2020. Outside of this I am a writer of prose and comics, a seasoned panel moderator, comics journalist, and book reviewer. I am also a competitive strongwoman! I enjoy tabletop gaming, Lego building, and painting excessive amounts of Tyranids in the vain hope of one day fielding them. I listen to Taylor Swift (a lot), and have a minor coffee obsession. I can talk for hours on comics, board games, Warhammer, TTRPGs, and fiction and really enjoy being a part of all of these communities.

I joined CGC in November 2021 and mainly work in our warehouse. I've dabbled in most areas, but my true expertise are Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. I have enjoyed the community nature of CGC’s shops and being able to introduce new people to new hobbies in the past. Now that I'm primarily in the warehouse, I'm enjoying being able to ensure good standards of service in my more ‘behind-the-scenes’ role!

I've been working at CGC right since the Worthing store opened back in June 2022. My main interests are definitely MTG and board games, but also a little bit of everything – so feel free to ask me if you have a question while in store! A fun fact is that I studied bioscience at university. I really enjoy working with the awesome CGC team and our amazing communities.

I've been at CGC since October 2022, about a month after I graduated from uni. I enjoy miniature painting, Warhammer, board games, RPG minis, anything really! Out of work, I collect an inordinate amount of LEGO. I think I'm just a big fan of small plastic figures... You can also ask me about Pokémon. I enjoy working at CGC because I meet and talk to such a variety of people, all with some line of shared interest. Whether it's people who are new to a game and asking for advice, someone buying a gift for someone else, or a long-standing member of our communities, I always enjoy being able to chat and help people out!

My first day at CGC was back in August 2024. I work at the Worthing store and my areas of expertise include Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering mainly, but also a mix of all card games alongside Warhammer, board games, and comics! Meeting new or existing nerds is what I love the most about working here, and maintaining a professional and safe community for all to thrive in.

I joined CGC in 2025. Outside of work I'm a DM and proud to say I've managed to keep campaigns going with more or less the same group for around 12 years now — an impressive feat considering one of them lives in NZ. If you see me in store you can ask me about TCGs, especially Yu-Gi-Oh, and also DnD. Our stores are open till 10 pm most days, and I'm not a morning person so I'm thankful for the later starts!

I joined CGC in November 2025. Sonic the Hedgehog, Star Wars and any superhero stuff is my bread and butter, but my other love is theatre! I'm also getting better at Magic: The Gathering, very slowly. Comics are my love — I grew up reading old Marvel collections from my local library. I got into university because I couldn't stop running my mouth about Spider-Verse and I wrote about representation in comics for my dissertation. I might know a thing or two about Captain Carrot... The CGC community's shared pool of nerds is very lovely. Swapping comic suggestions, theories about upcoming movies, getting overly excited about the next Magic set — it's a wonderful group to be a small part of.

I started at CGC in December 2025 — right at the deep end in the festive period! I’m a huge music fan, my taste is firmly rooted in Hard Rock and Heavy Metal but I have a deep respect and appreciation for genuinely talented music of any genre. I currently play Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, but I have played most major TCGs at a competitive level over the years. It’s so fulfilling to work for customers and a team who both appreciate what we do, and the fact it’s in a field that I have been interested in my whole life is just the cherry on top.

I joined CGC at the start of 2026. Board games are my bag, including strategy games. Ask me about Carcassonne and you won't be able to shut me up... I also enjoy RPGs like DnD and Mothership, and The Walking Dead comic books. Outside of work I'm passionate about the countryside and the environment and enjoy walks with my two dogs. I swim in the sea year round (yes, even in winter) and like to bake. The thing I like most about working at CGC is the lovely community — I've made a lot of lifelong friends here.
