Here's a run down of the top 10 selling comics at CGC for the week 19th - 25th April
1 | DC COMICS | BATMAN #21 (THE BUTTON) |
2 | MARVEL COMICS | SECRET EMPIRE #0 (OF 9) |
3 | DC COMICS | SUPERMAN #21 |
4 | DC COMICS | ALL STAR BATMAN #9 |
5 | DC COMICS | JUSTICE LEAGUE #19 |
6 | MARVEL COMICS | DEADPOOL #29 |
7 | MARVEL COMICS | DAREDEVIL #19 |
8 | DC COMICS | WILD STORM #3 |
9 | IMAGE COMICS | REDNECK #1 (MR) |
10 | BOOM! STUDIOS | JIM HENSON POWER OF DARK CRYSTAL #2 |
We had two big issues this week with both DC and Marvel unveiling their next big storyline - Batman #21 sold twice the normal amount for the first part of The Button crossover with the Flash. Hot on it's heels Secret Empire #0 set up Evil Steve's Hydra power play in the MU selling 50% more than the his solo comic.
Elsewhere, Deadpool had a bump from the final part of the crossover event, Daredevil had it's best numbers for a while and has been picking up readers again after a lull.
The tail end of the table had Wild STorm #3 settling down to consistent numbers, a sellout debut from Redneck #1 (second print likely to be announced this week). Finally, despite delays with issue #2 the Dark Crystal sequel capitalised on plenty of #1s selling from the shelf and kept most of those readers :)
That's it for this week, but as always let us know what the highlights of your week were and click HERE to see what will be on next week's chart.
