Top 10 Comics 16th-22nd August 2017 - Mortified

Here are the top 10 selling comics at CGC for the week 16th - 22nd August 2017

No prizes for guessing the number one seller this week as Metal forged it's way to the top of the chart casting a shadow over all the other releases (see what I did there? ;) )

Not only was it good but interest is really high and you all seemed to be craving some big dramatic Batman - plus the advance pictures of all the evil Batmen tempted people to see how they arrive.

The rest of the DC stalwarts did their usual job keeping numbers steady with some extra interest in the new Green Arrow arc building some extra sales for Ollie.

The mid-chart is ruled by Star Wars with Poe and then the Rogue one team (again continuing to sell very well from the shelf as it picks up good word of mouth)

The Casting re-entered on the back of Metal (and the forge would have done so if we hadn't run out of them now :( )

Rick and Morty has been doubling it's numbers over the last couple of months and has now cracked the chart - Probably due to the season 3 release but there is real steam behind anything with R&M involved at the moment.

Totally Awesome Hulk #22 with the conclusion of WMD would have cracked the chart if we hadn't sold out - We ordered 200% of normal but it wasn't enough - First appearance issues often attract speculators which only then cause regular readers to suffer (we had people asking for 10 copies via the website). In these cases we fulfil pull lists and limit customers to one copy which seems the fairest thing to do - Regardless they went super quick!
