This week's top 10 is quite a rewarding one for us as it features a few books that we have championed in the store, and that might not have got there without us pestering people to try them!
Firstly we had a great debut from Warren Ellis' Wild Storm entering the charts at #3 on debut - probably, in some part, due to Tom trying to sell it to anything with a heartbeat within 25 miles of Chichester!
Both Animosity and Kill Or Be Killed are also books that people have taken a chance on, but most importantly continue to read and come back for (both books now sell about twice what they did for issue one). They show that taking a chance and delivering quality on the back of that can grow a readership. So well done people for reading something a bit different and well done Aftershock and Image for delivering quality books!
Which is not to detract from DC and Marvel continuing to do their universes very well! Superman is now only about 20% behind Batman with Trinity hot on it's heels. The end of Clone Conspiracy had it's highest sales yet and Super Sons has debuted very well. Batwoman, surprisingly, did not do well and charted outside the top 20 :/ (It's really good give it a chance this week!)
