Those of you aware of Owen's favourite books will not be surprised that a book with the tagline 'League Of Extraordinary Gentlewomen' gets prime billing this week as Adler teams up with a host of famous female faces from science, history and literature to defeat the greatest criminal mastermind of all time!

First up we have the dark side to the recent restart of Star Wars with Darth Vader #1 - Vader is tracking down anyone associated with the corruption of his son Luke and is pretty grumpy about Luke choosing to fall to his death rather than pal up with his Dad - grab a copy to see some rebel scum get smooshed!
Next the X-Men and Fantastic Four get a x-over series - Franklin Richards is the only mutant not to live on Krakoa - What happens when he is forced to make a decision about his future?
Conan writer Robert E Howard's Dark Agnes gets her first solo series - Set in 16th century France we have Agnes on her way to earn some primo coin as a mercenary in Italy - but getting out of France with a price on your head can be a bit tricky
Last and kinda least is a new Antman mini series - Desperate to raise his daughter's opinion of him, Scott takes a job from local beekeepers only to uncover a global conspiracy that could topple the world order!
DC's only new title this week is their Valentines special with 10 stories of crime and passion hosted by Slam Bradley - Private Detective
There are some great trades out this week - Die Vol2 Split the Party is the second volume of Gillen and Hans' wildly successful series, The often overlooked cat detective sub-genre is fulfilled by a restock of the greatest example Blacksad HC and we have a collection of the very hard to find Gotham Central
