Greetings Funny Book Fans!

Spring must be around the corner as there are a considerable number of new series sprouting shoots on the shelves this week (tenuous seasonal reference - Check!). Highlights are below but as ever check out the full list further down the page!

After last week's return of Kick Ass this week brings a new Hit Girl series with her Littlest Hobo-ing it up and travelling the world fixing people's ills.

Donny Cates & Nick Spencer give us Doctor Strange: Damnation - While fixing Las Vegas Strange has brought Mephisto to the city of sin - It's gonna take a lot of fixing to put that rabbit back in the hat...

Deathbed #1 from Flash writer Joshua Williamson- Antonio Luna, the world's greatest living adventurer disappeared 20 years ago but now he is back on his death bed and telling tall tales of an insane world of psychedelic violence and explosive supernatural adventure.

Shiver Bureau - A cross between Sherlock Holmes and GhostbustersShiver Bureau is the tale of a formidable detective that is forced into a partnership with a wise-cracking, hotshot inspector to save London from being overrun by ghosts and monsters

There's a very well timed Black Panther Annual - If you liked the film then give the comics a try!

Bloodborne by rising star writer Ales Kot takes on the latest licence from Titan and is sure to be worth a look. (Owen says check out his other work on Generation Gone and the new Bond series The Body)

Milk Wars continues with the most bizarre pairing so far - Swamp Thing & Cave Carson

Batman: Sins Of The Father - Fills in events between the first and second season of the Telltale game series and is pretty much essential reading if you have played the game.

Hellboy gets hot under the collar in the latest BPRD one-shot - Burning Season (and check out the super cute Hellboy plushies we have just got in as well!)

Alex De Campi brings Taarna #1 from the pages of Heavy Metal to her first comics adventure with Alex Ross covers to boot :)

The next book from Karen Berger's new imprint at Dark Horse is Mata Hari #1 covering the final days of the mysterious spy as she writes her memoir, part romantic tale of a Javanese princess who performed "sacred" nude dances for Europe's elite, and part real-life saga of a disgraced wife and mother.

The excellent Bond one-shots continue with Declan Shalvey and PJ Holden shining some light on dark secrets held by Bond's boss M.

We also have Lucas Stand returning for a new 6 part series from Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, Krusty the Clown in a one-shot, Moonshine returns for it's second story arc and Cullen Bunn delivers us his latest horror nasty Pumpkinhead
