New Comics Day 20/12/2017 - 30 Days of Krampusnacht

Less than a week to go! Do you have everything sorted? Presents purchased? Food foraged? Decorations dangling? Stockings stuffed?

We'll be doing our best to keep the shelves stocked and comics coming (okay no more alliteration) for anything you need right up until Christmas Eve.

This weeks comics continue with Christmas-y themes all over, one shots specials and loads of new number ones!

First we have an unexpected but suitably wintery reboot with 30 Days of Night, 15 years ago the town of Barrow was first rocked by vampires, resulting in some truly great books and one mediocre movie (with one amazing tracking shot). 30 Days of Night is back! Updated for a new audience. I can't wait!

The big red guy is back and I don't mean Santa! It wouldn't be the same without some sort of Hellboy special and this time he's taking on Krampus! With Mike Mignola teaming up with Adam Hughes this is going to be another great and good looking story!

Chip Zdarsky brings us some Fantastic Four action (or is that terrific two (okay seriously no more alliteration)) in the form of Marvel 2 in 1. Ben Grimm and the Human Torch are here getting what's left of the team together, and in the second story Doom is apparently going to reveal a big secret that he's been keeping since Secret Wars. Pretty much a must read for anyone that loved Infamous Iron-man (like I did) or misses the Fantastic Four should probably keep their eyes open for this one.

Last but not least Valiant brings us Quantum and Woody, the story of two super powered brothers who aren't on speaking terms but have to smash their wristbands together or face total annihilation. Expect fun in the form of petty (and not so petty) bitter sibling rivalry and spite in one of Valiant's most anticipated books this year.

That's it for now see you soon, and if we don't have a great Christmas and New Year!
