Indie trade wise we kick off with another butt-kicking lady, as Buffy the Vampire Slayer vol. 5 (Jordie Bellaire, Jeremy Lambert, Ramon Bachs, Andres Genolet) hits the shelves, and Willow returns to Sunnydale with a secret about Buffy and the Scooby Gang that'll change everything!

For the single ladies we have Lonely Receiver (Zac Thompson, Jen Hickman) a horror / break-up story in five parts. Catrin Vander, a lonely video producer, buys an Artificial Intelligence partner that's meant to bond for life. After ten years together, her holographic wife suddenly disconnects without a warning. The breakup drives Catrin to the point of near insanity. She's alone for the first time in years and reeling from a loss she can't comprehend.

We don't like to admit it, but this is an evil world where evil people do evil stuff all the time. Thankfully, there is a secret cabal within the United States government that works outside our normal system to influence world matters through targeted assassination. In Die! Die! Die! vol. 2 (Robert Kirkman, Scott Gimple, Erik Burnham, Nathan Fairbairn ) Senator Connie Lipshitz has taken over the cabal, using her vast resources to finally make the world a better place...no matter how many people have to die!
