Here is this week’s rundown of the new comics coming out on the 3rd September.

We’re going back to the 90s with Spider-Man.

 Batman #1

A new phase for Batman begins with writer Matt Fraction teaming up with artist Jorge Jiménez. The dark knight gets a brand-new first issue to kick off this new era that will test Batman and Bruce Wayne like never before!

Spider-Man ’94 #1

The animated series from the 1990s returns! After a journey across the Multiverse, Peter Parker returns to New York City alongside Mary Jane Watson. This issue introduces two notable villains from the comic universe. Writer J.M. DeMatteis and artist Jim Towe have collaborated on this new series which will feature developments for Spider-Man and other characters from the show.

Adventures of Superman: Book of El #1

Superman returns! Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Scott Godlewski collaborate once again for this new series. While the Super-Family experiences a period of stability, a former ally arrives on Earth with an army and the powers associated with Olgrun from the First World. When the Super-Family cannot prevent this threat, Superman is sent to an unfamiliar place where he encounters unexpected allies. This story concludes events from Future State and Phillip Kennedy Johnson's Action Comics, starting a new chapter in the series.

Everything Dead & Dying #1

Everything Dead & Dying tells the story of Jack Chandler, a survivor of a zombie apocalypse who remains in his rural farming community. Instead of eliminating the zombies, Jack continues to live among them, including his husband and adopted daughter. When outsiders arrive in his town, Jack becomes an obstacle to those who intend to kill his family.

Imperial War: Exiles #1

 A coup at home has imperilled Shi'ar Majestrix Xandra, tearing her from the throne. It’s Jeff & Other Marvel Tales #1

The Marvel Collection brings together three popular series from Marvel Unlimited: IT'S JEFF, ALLIGATOR LOKI, and MARVEL MEOW. This compilation features stories such as Jeff attending a birthday party and encountering a new rival, Alligator Loki interacting with the Avengers and Throg, and Black Cat's group of cats assisting Spider-Man. Additional episodes include various other adventures involving well-known characters and their animal companions from the Marvel Universe, offering readers an opportunity to explore both familiar and new personalities.
