Freshly Pressed Horror! New Marvel Midnight Day 7th October 2026

Jessica Hubbard
It’s a terrifyingly good week for new comics...

As the days get shorter and the October chill sets in here in West Sussex, the comic world is plunging into absolute, terrifying darkness (and that isn't just Rob Liefeld drawing feet). This week, Marvel is taking over our shelves with the highly anticipated launch of the Marvel Midnight imprint. In a massive publishing event, they are dropping three horror-infused debuts on the same day: Midnight Spider-Man, Midnight Fantastic Four, and Midnight X-Men.

These aren't your typical superhero tales—these are twisted reinterpretations where Peter Parker is a monstrous hybrid and the X-Men are fighting a bloody holy war for survival. Whether you're hunting down the gorgeous Midnight Bloodbath variants or just want a fantastic horror read for October, this is the comic event of the season.

Read on for a list of all the new comics this week, or scroll to the bottom for ongoing series highlights.
