Website & Social Media Content Creator

Are you passionate about pop culture and skilled at creating engaging online content? We're looking for an organised and creative individual to become the voice of CGC online, connecting our customers with the products and events they love.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing and updating our website, including creating compelling product listings for our huge array of new comics, games, and merchandise each week.
• Crafting and scheduling exciting content for all our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to keep our community informed and entertained.
• Promoting upcoming product releases, in-store events, and tournaments.
• Engaging with our online community, answering questions and fostering a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
• Championing our community spaces to ensure they remain safe, inclusive, and fun for everyone.

What You'll Need:

• A genuine passion for and knowledge of comics, tabletop games, TCGs, or all of the above!
• Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, as the role requires travel between our warehouse and store locations.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (like Shopify) and social media management is a huge plus!

The Details:

• Location: Primarily based at our warehouse unit, with regular time required at our Chichester and Worthing stores.
• Hours: Part-time (3 days per week). This can be a full-time role if combined with a retail position for the right candidate.

Retail Specialist (aka Our Resident "Retail Nerd")

Do you love nothing more than recommending a new board game or discussing the latest comic book plot twist? We're seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our front-line team, sharing their passion and making our stores a welcoming home for all.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Delivering an exceptional and friendly service experience for every customer.
• Sharing your knowledge and passion to help customers discover the perfect comic, board game, or TCG.
• Helping new players learn the ropes and find their local gaming community.
• Operating the till, managing stock, and keeping the store looking fantastic.
• Assisting with and hosting in-store events, from TCG tournaments to learn-to-play sessions.
• Championing our store as a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for the entire community.

What You'll Need:

• A deep love and broad knowledge of the comics and gaming world.
• A friendly, positive, and approachable personality.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help people.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is beneficial, but a true passion for our products is most important.
• The enthusiasm to make our stores the heart of the local nerd scene!

The Details:

• Location: We have positions available at both our Chichester and Worthing stores. All positions may be required to work at either location
• Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) and Part-time roles (16-24 hours per week) are available. Please state your preference in your application.
