A billionaire vigilante and a criminal walk into a bar... but this isn't a bad joke (hopefully!), this is Batman: Three Jokers #1 (Geoff Johns, Jason FabokThirty years after Batman: The Killing Joke changed comics forever, this new three part series reexamines the myth of who, or what, The Joker is and what is at the heart of his eternal battle with Batman.

If that isn't enough of the Clown Prince of Crime you can also check out a hardback edition of Joker: Killer Smile (Jeff Lemire, Andrea Sorrentino) this week.

Also out this week is DCeased: Unkillables vol. 1 in which Deathstroke and Red Hood team up to try and save life on Earth.

The Justice League Unlimited: Galactic Justice trade paperback features sci-fi adventures starring Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Adam Strange, Sinestro, Space Cabbie, and more, inspired by the beloved animated series of the same name! Plus there is another one for younger DC readers in the form of Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade.

The self-appointed protector of Hells Kitchen in back in Daredevil Annual #1 (Chip Zdarsk, Manuel Garcia, Chris Mooneyham), and Fantastic Four: Antithesis (Mark Waid, Neal Adams) is first full-length Fantastic Four story ever illustrated by classic creator Neal Adams!

Trade wise from Marvel you can catch up on the exploits on Krakoa, as Dawn of X vol. 7 (Gerry Duggan, Stefano Caselli, more) drops, as does Fallen Angels vol. 1 (Bryan Hill, Szymon Kudranski) which sees a new Psylocke trying to find her place in the new world order. Plus it is The End (Erik Larsen, more) for Marvel. Well, for the Venom-based event that recently ran anyway.

The history of the Locke family goes back to the dark days of WWI in Locke And Key: In Pale Battalions Go #1 (Joe Hill, Gabriel Rodriguez) and then there is the crossover you never knew you needed until right now... Mars Attacks Red Sonja #1 (John Layman, Fran Strukan)

In Bomb Queen: Trump Card #1 (Jimmie Robinson) it's the titular hero taking on the possible 'President for life' in the year 2024, and taking place between seasons one and two of the hit Rooster Teeth web series, Gen Lock vol. 1 is an all-new story of Julian Chase and his team as they pick up the pieces of their lives, leading them into a high-octane adventure in one of the Polity's last free countries, Japan!

The all ages fan favourite returns in Canto II: The Hollow Men (David M. Booher, Drew Zucker), as the clockwork hero faces a new challenge to himself and his people. It's a new beginning for the worldwide culture phenomenon featuring heroes like Mega Man, Rush and Dr. Light trying to save Silicon City from the villainous forces of the Robot Masters, set in the world of the TV series in Mega Man: Fully Charged #1 (AJ Marchisello, Marcus Rineheart (A) Stefano Simeone).

Death or Glory vol. 1 (Rick Remender, Bengal) is a cross-country roadtrip with a difference, as an off-grid trucker tries to raise money for life-saving surgery for her father but pulling of four daring heists in just three days... Meanwhile things are looking equally bleak for Abel in Middlewest vol. 3 (Skottie Young, Jorge Corona).

There is creeping horror based around a prosthetic eye in Red Mother vol. 1 (Jeremy Haun, Danny Luckert), and real life horror in the They Called Us Enemy (George Takei, Justin Eisinger, Steve Scott, Harmony Becker) expanded hardcover edition, which tells Takei's story of being forced into an internment camp for Japanese-Americans aged just four.

Granblue Fantasy vol. 1 (Cygames, Cocho) is based on the acclaimed RPG of the same name, and the mystery of the Titans is one step closer to be being resolved in Attack On Titan vol. 31 (Isayama Hajime), and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (Kuroki Q) is an alternate version of the events told in the manga Danganronpa 2: Ultimate Luck and Hope and Despair. That series told the story through the eyes of "Ultimate Lucky Student" Nagito Komaeda; now Goodbye Despair gives you the perspective of his archrival in the desperate classroom murder game, Hajime Hinata - and we have volumes 1 and 2 in store this week!
