Some cool and old school oddities for you this week!
Astonishing X-men is back with a bold cast a strong 90s feel and hints of nostalgia to get your palette started . Archangel, Rogue, Mystique, Old Man Logan, Gambit, Bishop, Psylocke and Fantomex all team up to save the psychics and save the world! It's virtually a classic Age of Apocalypse line up! The X-men books have so far been great but have lacked a proper X-men threat, and this feels just right.
Moonstruck is the delightful new book from Lumberjanes creator Grace Ellis! Magical Animals live alongside humans day to day and how would they order their Lattes? The story follows a werewolf Barista and her best friend as they are dropped in the middle of a magical conspiracy. Can they fix it with foamed milk or are they in over their heads? WWHPD?
Time and Vine may be our oddest title of the week, not because it's weird but because it's just so endearing and gentle. It's Mr Ben for grown ups that like wine. A teacher looking for a bit of escape from her day to meets a winery owner (vintner?) and together they drink wine and are taken back through time to experience the past and their past. It's delightful and I can only hope that it's as nice as it sounds.
